Imagine standing at the edge of a pristine lake, searching desperately for your own reflection. The more you reach and grasp, the more you disturb the waters—waves ripple across the surface, and your very seeking obscures what you long to see.
But when you simply rest... when you stop the frantic searching... the waters begin to settle. Wave by wave, the surface calms. And there, in the crystal clarity of stillness, your own luminous face gazes back—radiant, whole, exactly as it has always been.
The seeking was the only thing that veiled the truth.
In the depths of silence, you will find what you have always been.
In Classical Yoga, meditation is both path and destination: the quieting of the fluctuations of the mind so that awareness rests in its own radiance. This 300-hour journey is an invitation into the power of silence—to settle deeply into the now, to rest in the infinite stillness within, and to emerge carrying its peace into your daily life and into your offerings as a teacher.
Classical Yoga is this direct path—allowing the falling away of everything non-essential to reveal the Self that has never been hidden. Through the ancient wisdom of the Yoga Sutras and contemplative traditions, this year-long journey guides you into the heart of meditation, where awareness rests in its own luminous nature.
This is not a path of accumulation, but of recognition. Not of becoming, but of being.
Here, you discover not what you must become, but what you have always been.
Nothing to seek. Everything to discover.

“Be still and know that I am.”
In the tradition of the great sages, this path leads you home to the recognition that has always been true:
You are already whole.
Already free.
Already at peace.
The only work is to stop seeking elsewhere.

How we journey together
An approach rooted in Loving Wisdom
The primary approach to this course is rooted in the timeless wisdom of the balance of effortless-effort; an approach of spaciousness and relaxation in our regular practice. Like learning a musical instrument, we bring our dedicated practice day after day, while allowing the melody to emerge naturally. This balanced approach—showing up with commitment while cultivating ease—creates the perfect conditions for awakening. As we continue to practice and release, subtle layers naturally dissolve, revealing the peace and clarity that are already here.

our curriculum
The Journey
The 4 phases of unfolding
12 months • daily practice • process of direct revelation
Following the natural rhythm of awakening itself, this yearlong path honors the organic stages that every sincere meditator naturally moves through—from the initial settling of body and mind, to the deepening into effortless stillness, to the spontaneous arising of insight, and finally to the integration of wisdom into daily life.
Rather than imposing a rigid curriculum, we simply create the conditions for consciousness to unfold according to its own innate intelligence.
Phase ONE
I.
Settling into the now
Establishing the ground of presence
months 1–3 • 30 minutes daily
Gently learning to find your seat in stillness through proper posture, relaxation techniques, and the supportive foundation of the yamas and niyamas. Here you discover how to meet the natural fluctuations of mind and body with compassion, creating the stable ground from which meditation naturally unfolds.
Learn to relax deeply, steady your attention, and orient the mind toward stillness. These essential foundations allow meditation to unfold naturally, without force or effort.
Phase Two
II.
Resting in silence
Deepening into stillness
months 4–6 • 35 minutes daily
Less guidance, more spacious stillness as you learn to rest in the vast presence of silence itself. Through this deepening quietude, awareness naturally interiorizes into the subtler dimensions of being, allowing consciousness to settle into its own luminous nature.
Following Patañjali's guidance, we gently enter the vast, nourishing presence of silence—resting not in effort, but in the natural quietude of awareness itself.
Phase Three
III.
Revelation
Awakening to what has always been.
months 7–9 • 40 minutes daily
From the depths of silence, spontaneous insights arise—like flowers blooming in an untended garden. This is the grace-filled moment when wisdom reveals itself not through effort, but through the natural clarity of undisturbed awareness.
Phase four
IV.
Conscious creation
Expressing the fruits of deepest recognitions
months 10–12 • 45 minutes daily
From the fertile ground of vast stillness and infinite possibility, you discover the creative power of awareness itself. Like dropping a gentle pebble into a perfectly still lake, you learn to work with intention and visualization aligned with your highest purpose, bringing the fruits of silence into creative expression and compassionate action.
Rooted in clarity, your actions arise from wisdom rather than reaction. This is the living yoga of daily life.

Surrender and allow the infinite to reveal
“In silence and stillness the eternal reveals itself as what has always been here. Through simple presence and devoted attention, the heart awakens to its own deepest nature.”
—Ramana Maharshi
The 4 Pillars of Practice
To help you experientially understand and integrate of the content of this program, we employ the four yogic pillars for spiritual growth:
I
Sadhana: Daily practice
Live guided meditations to settle into stillness. Each day, meet yourself in the sanctuary of silence through progressive practices that naturally deepen awareness and cultivate the ground for self-recognition.
II
Satsang: Sacred teachings
Weekly teachings (1 hour) unfolding the timeless wisdom of the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali. These sacred keys unlock the understanding that illuminates the path from seeking to being.
III
Sangha: Spiritual community
Weekly sharing circles where fellow practitioners support each other's journey. In the company of sincere seekers, insights deepen and the path becomes a shared exploration of truth.
IV
Swadyaya: Self-Inquiry
Integration of insights arising from practice through self-reflection, contemplation, and inquiry. The fruits of stillness are brought into daily life, transforming ordinary moments into opportunities for recognition.

Who is this for?
For those who feel called.
The path of meditation is born of sincere commitment to daily practice and an authentic longing to rest in the truth of what you are.
This is not about gathering spiritual experiences or achieving special states; rather, through contemplative practice we enter a process of recognition that reveals the luminous awareness you have always been.
This path requires a certain quality of sincerity and perseverance. There will be times when the mind resists stillness, when old patterns surface in the silence, when the invitation to simply be feels surprisingly challenging. What's needed is not heroic effort, but patient presence—the willingness to show up each day, to sit with whatever emerges, and to trust the natural intelligence of awareness itself.
This course is for those who have a deep sense that there is something very truthful and powerful in true rest and surrender—and who want to explore this for themselves. It's designed for sincere practitioners who feel called to discover what lies beyond the constant doing, thinking, and seeking, and who are ready to dedicate themselves to the profound simplicity of just being present, with consistency, gentleness, and trust in what wants to unfold naturally.
This program is for sincere seekers ready to:
Commit to daily practice over 12 months
Move beyond technique into direct experience
Rest in stillness rather than constantly seeking
Discover the awareness that has never been disturbed
No prior meditation experience required—only the willingness to be still and the courage to discover what you truly are.
Practitioner Path & Teacher Training

While designed primarily for personal transformation, this program also fulfills Yoga Alliance's 300-hour advanced teacher training requirements for those seeking professional certification, allowing you to share these timeless teachings with others upon completion.

Tanya Kaps
Tanya has been practicing and teaching Hatha Yoga for 25 years with both modern and traditional influences, as well as 13 years sitting in traditional Vedanta teachings with Swami Vagishananda.
At the age of 36, she had a powerful kundalini awakening experience during this time she dove deep into study and practice to facilitate the integration process; at which time she sought out he guidance from reliable teachers specializing in Kundalini Tantra.
Her courses have a pervasive spiritual emphasis reminding students that the spiritual journey is a journey of resolving paradox. May we have a deep recognition that we are already full and complete, and paradoxically, out of fullness, may we embrace our ever-changing-ness and our human evolutionary potentials.
